Chilo is the owner/operator
of Chilo's Authentic Mexican Restaurant as well as the Kitchen Manager and Head Chef. He has over 30 years of experience and
was the Head Chef of the very first authentic Mexican restaurant in the Triad Area. He first came to Atlanta GA at the early
age of 17 years old starting off in the kitchen as Chef #3 and worked his way up to Chef #1 by age 19 yrs old, one year later
he became a Kitchen Manager. In 1989 he moved to Winston-Salem with Jesus Ruiz, the owner of the famous Mi Pueblo chain and
began the first of many restaurants. He Trained new chefs for 7 of the 11 restaurants of that chain. He decided to open his
first successful restaurant in 2001 located in Greensboro, NC. Chilo's resaurant was able to move to Advance, NC due to a
huge blessing from God. Chilo's is a true family establishment, we are family here and would love to serve your family.
